This is a 4-year programme designed to equip students with knowledge in reporting, analyzing and managing financial resources in government and business entities. The program equips students with the ability to critically analyze emerging accounting issues. It provides students with insights into issues underlying the accounting numbers thus fostering professional and academic competence.
Furthermore, we offer a variety of financial accounting modules which contribute to various academic programmes, as compulsory modules or elective modules.

For this degree Prospective students must hold:
1. Full grade twelve certificate (English, Mathematics, Biology plus one Science and any other subject ) with credit or better.
2. Completed A Levels
3. Grade 6 or better in English Language; Grade 4 or better in O’ level Mathematics PLUS Grade 6 or better in Biology (or Agricultural Science), Chemistry and Physics OR Grade 6 or better in Science, Biology(or Agricultural Science) and any other acceptable subject .

Knowledge is assessed by written seen and unseen examinations. These include;
- Standard essay sand extended essays or short pieces of coursework
- Individual and group presentations
- Poster presentations
- Group reports
- Project work
- Portfolios
- Data analysis and interpretation activities
- Library exercises
- A combination of formative and summative assessments (i.e. quizzes).
DURATION OF PROGRAMME
The expected duration of this program is 4 years when attended full time and 4 years plus under distance with each semester having a minimum of 22 weeks of learning
